What inspired me...

to pick these acorn ornaments was because its something new. A au to nature and the back woods. Naturally one think of squirrels and fall leaves. But 'it' has a special perspective for Christmas. I liked the fact that it's glass and it's fabricated to look like a jeweled life like acorn ornament.

It's a big deal for me because that is what makes it unique. They are almost good enough to eat! For squirrels that is. Some great decorating ideas would be to have Christmas ornaments colors that complements the acorns. I'm thinking of copper, gold, bronze, and dark green.

I was looking for unique fit well with the other European glass ornaments I picked for Geri's Specialty Gifts. And the acorn Christmas ornaments is a fine example of handmade European glass ornaments that will be cherished for years to come.

What made me pick Tannenbaum Treasures?

Well personally I don't think they are the most spectacular Christmas ornaments I've ever seen. But they are different and that's what I like about them. If I were to think about truly spectacular looking ornaments I would think of something overly sparkly like crystal Christmas ornaments but having all the ornaments on the tree that way will not look right.

And it would take away from the home like feeling of the Christmas tree. You know spectacular isn’t the key to great Christmas ornaments.
