What inspired me...

to pick this ornament was the concept of a penguin on a shopping spree. This makes me think of the penguin character ornament one would see at major department stores. Very cosmopolitan! And for people who are a fan of penguin movies this ornament would make a nice addition, a unique ornament to add to the Christmas tree.

This ornament also reminds me of old retro 1960's commercial ads that are kind of painted in Rembrandt style. The penguin Christmas ornament is also a great for those who love the excitement of holiday shopping for Christmas.

I was looking for unique too and this holiday shopping penguin fits well with my glass ornaments collection for Geri's Specialty Gifts. And is a fine example of handmade European glass ornaments that will be cherished for years to come.

What made me pick Tannenbaum Treasures?

Well personally I don't think they are the most spectacular Christmas ornaments I've ever seen. But they are different and that's what I like about them. If I were to think about truly spectacular looking ornaments I would think of something overly sparkly like crystal Christmas ornaments but having all the ornaments on the tree that way will not look right.
