What inspired me...

to pick this ornament was that it was different from the ordinary red and white Santa would had worn. The colorful patchwork reminds me of a colorful painting I saw when I was a child. What was appealing about it was the deep colors and shadows painted around the colors, and like the patchwork Santa, contrasting outlines around the patches of color make it stand out. The patchwork design on Santa reminds me of being in the Metropolitan Museum of Art when I visited the Tiffany stained glass exhibit.

Than again, when one looks at it it give it a old world feel. Wearing this patchwork give him a cozy feel of being at home. The abundance of presents shows he has a lot of love to give. It gives this patchwork Santa ornament an overall cheerful feel.

What made me pick Tannenbaum Treasures?

Well personally I don't think they are the most spectacular Christmas ornaments I've ever seen. But they are different and that's what I like about them. If I were to think about truly spectacular looking ornaments I would think of something overly sparkly like crystal Christmas ornaments but having all the ornaments on the tree that way will not look right.

And it would take away from the home like feeling of the Christmas tree. You know spectacular isn’t the key to great Christmas ornaments.
