What inspired me...

to pick this piggy tutu ornament was how cute it is. At first it looked like an ornament that no one would really buy but I thought this ornament with it kind of ridiculousness, is still unique, and many people love pig themed ornaments.

Ultimately I picked this ornament because it's very unique handmade European glass. Some people would call the ornament wonderfully outlandish; the hot pinks and blue, the pig dressed in a tutu on a glittery hot pink ball and a fuschia pink bow with the number 1. This could be a baby girls first Christmas ornament!

The piggy on ball ornament is unique and they fit well with the other European glass ornaments I picked for Geri's Specialty Gifts. And is a fine example of handmade European glass ornaments that will be cherished for years to come.

What made me pick Tannenbaum Treasures?

Well personally I don't think they are the most spectacular Christmas ornaments I've ever seen. But they are different and that's what I like about them. If I were to think about truly spectacular looking ornaments I would think of something overly sparkly like crystal Christmas ornaments but having all the ornaments on the tree that way will not look right.

And it would take away from the home like feeling of the Christmas tree. You know spectacular isn’t the key to great Christmas ornaments. The key to Christmas ornaments and the reason why I use Tannebaum treasures is because their ornaments are timeless. Just enough sparkle to make it romantic; and color to enchant the eyes of the kids and the kids at heart. No need for over commercialization.
