What inspired me...

was the lovely colors of the ornament. I like the colors to standout while the hues are deep and rich in color. I couldn’t pass up this queen of hearts for my collection. The dark hues of red, burgundy, black, silver with the sparkles of gold makes this ornament of really refined craftsmanship. When I was thinking of what to pick in the Alice In Wonderland section it was what stood out for me as unique, and something I want for my glass ornaments section.

Colors that stand out and with prominent detail was important to me, that's why I picked this one. I really love it and it's so close to my heart to what I have in mind for Geri's Specialty Gifts. This queen of hearts ornament are a fine example of handmade European glass ornaments that will be cherished for years to come.

What made me pick Tannenbaum Treasures?

Well personally I don't think they are the most spectacular Christmas ornaments I've ever seen. But they are different and that's what I like about them. If I were to think about truly spectacular looking ornaments I would think of something overly sparkly like crystal Christmas ornaments but having all the ornaments on the tree that way will not look right.

And it would take away from the home like feeling of the Christmas tree. You know spectacular isn’t the key to great Christmas ornaments.
