What inspired me...

to pick the ornament was the technicolor coat that Santa was wearing, my love for rainbow colored things, I LOVE rainbows! The colors on the coat  looks like they will blink in a rhythmic motion as Santa happily goes along giving good boys and girls presents under a tree.

The ornament is cheerful and delightful. Santa is also a teacher too, telling boys and girls about their homework assignment on the colors of the rainbow.

He's teaching a  short way to remember the colors in a rainbow by thinking of healthy yummy fruits. R=Red for cherry flavor, O=Orange for orange flavor,  Y=Yellow for lemon, G=Green for say green apple, yum!, B=Blue for blueberries, I= Indigo for blackberries and V=Violet for grapes, not just any grapes concord grapes. Yum!

I was looking for unique too and this rainbow Santa ornament fit well with the other European glass ornaments I picked for Geri's Specialty Gifts. This sparkly color carousel elephant ornament is a fine example of handmade European glass ornaments that will be cherished for years to come.

What made me pick Tannenbaum Treasures?

Well personally I don't think they are the most spectacular Christmas ornaments I've ever seen. But they are different and that's what I like about them. If I were to think about truly spectacular looking ornaments I would think of something overly sparkly like crystal Christmas ornaments but having all the ornaments on the tree that way will not look right.

And it would take away from the home like feeling of the Christmas tree. You know spectacular isn’t the key to great Christmas ornaments.
