What inspired me...

to pick these ornaments was the gold outlining in the ornaments and the rich colors of the turtle shells. I needed to find turtle ornaments so I thought these would be good for my collection. They are beautifully done by European glass artisans in the best detailing. And I like the idea of the gold which is associated with wealth and the red & green for the turtle shells.

I was thinking it can be for Christmas and for Chinese New Year. In the Chinese culture turtles are considered lucky so I think these will make great ornaments. These turtle assortment ornaments will be like two jewels that will stand out on a Christmas tree or as great keepsakes.

What made me pick Tannenbaum Treasures?

Well personally I don't think they are the most spectacular Christmas ornaments I've ever seen. But they are different and that's what I like about them. If I were to think about truly spectacular looking ornaments I would think of something overly sparkly like crystal Christmas ornaments but having all the ornaments on the tree that way will not look right.

And it would take away from the home like feeling of the Christmas tree. You know spectacular isn’t the key to great Christmas ornaments. The key to Christmas ornaments and the reason why I use Tannebaum treasures is because their ornaments are timeless.
